Bandung, July 14th, 2017 | The signing of Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) of entrepreneurial incubator program between STP NHI Bandung and SBM ITB was held on Friday, July 14th, 2017. STP NHI Bandung coorporates with the School of Business and Management (SBM) ITB in order to improve the quality of entrepreneurship in the field of tourism. MoA was signed by the Director of STP Bandung, Dr. Anang Sutono and Dean ofSBM ITB, Prof. Dr. Sudarso K. Wiryono, at SBM ITB Building.
The cooperation covers six areas, including the preparation of the entrepreneurship curriculum, the development of entrepreneurship capacity of lecturers, the development of business incubator programs, the development of tourism financing business model, the holding of competitions and entrepreneurship exhibitions, and the modeling of entrepreneurship-based tourist villages.
CTDS Organized Destination Management (DM) Training in Maumere

Maumere, August 22nd, 2017 | In improving the capacity of human resources in tourism destination management, the Center for Tourism Destination Studies (CTDS) under the auspices of STP NHI Bandung in collaboration with Swisscontact WISATA II held Destination Management (DM) Training in Maumere, Sikka on August 20-26, 2017. The training aims to prepare qualified and competent tourism people in the field of governance of tourism destinations in accordance with the latest developments in Indonesia and abroad.
Participants in this training came from various tourism-influential sectors: Destination Facilitator, DMO, Tourism Management Organization (TMO), Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association (IHRA), Associations of The Indonesian Tour and Travel Agencies (ASITA), Tourism Department, and other stakeholders. The training was officially opened by the Regent of Sikka Regency, representative of STP Bandung, and representative of Swisscontact WISATA II. The training has scored trainers from various regions of Indonesia, including Flores, Tanjung Puting, Toraja, and Wakatobi.

Not only facilitate STP NHI Bandung graduates, this event also opens opportunities for job seekers in general, because the job vacancy available in job fair is not only limited to tourism, hotel and travel but also includes finance, IT, communication, design, mechanical/ engineering, personal assistant, sales and marketing, and others. Various companies engaged in tourism, hotels, resorts, airlines, theme parks, travel agents, cruise lines, retail, and others participate in this annual event.
More than 50 companies participated in Grand Recruitment 2017, provided over 15,165 job vacancies of 1078 managerial level positions, 960 supervisors and 12,326 entry level / rank and file, and 1052 other vacancies including 33 positions for persons with disabilities, with the largest vacancies available in the field of Hospitality.
